Well, lets talk about it.

There are enough of us oldsters still around (still alive?!) that have seen some sh-- in the airline business and survived the turmoil.

A year or two ago, I would say it was a single airline issue with Spirit and the rest of the industry was healthy and able to hire. Now, it's more questionable.

UPS and FedEx have issues with the MD-11 grounding as far as any growth plans

SWA has issues with the brand/product change

AS has issues with the HA merger, AA with the debt issue

The rest of the ULCC's are also asking the gov for a fuel bailout, JetBlue's financials are not in a good spot either

UA and DL are doing better, but UA has already announced cuts to the flight schedule due to the fuel issue
