I just finished the long app for the assistant dispatch job at Spirit. Does this mean that a phone interview may be next? If so how long until calls go out and what type of questions do they ask?

Pay isn't bad, but you are living in FLL so cost of living is high.

Davie and Pembroke Pines aren't too expensive. Cooper City and Weston are more expensive. If you don't mind driving, Deerfield Beach and Pompano are nice. If you're single, Hollywood and Miramar are okay. Just pay attention to your surroundings.

I've seen posts on pay starting at mid 30's then low 40's after you get assigned a desk. Does anyone know where it scales from there?

Our most senior dispatcher I believe is somewhere in the 90s.

$24.56 starting pay and max $45.72 after 15 years as a Dispatcher. Assistants make 80% of that rate.
