If it's so bad, why not quit? Move on to another airline. Or if that doesn't work (due to the way seniority is handled), find a new line of work? Kind of how almost the entire private sector in the US works? I don't understand why airline pilots think they are the only ones exempt from this system.
Maybe it's the bitterness of the bankruptcy concessions? The fact that $300k + CA salaries are a thing of the past? Get used to it. Several occupations have seen their salaries cut over the last two decades (for example: physicians and air traffic controllers, both which come with large amounts of responsibility and require a good amount of education.) Again, if the job sucks so bad, quit. Otherwise, shut up and stop whining.
