Some of us don't come from money ;). It's awesome that you can have those, but with limited resources one has to be a little more picky. We'll just have to live vicariously thru you :)

Only 22 years old...it's my daily driver. Got it in 2003, hand me down from my mother!!

PS I test drove a 2011 Panamera 4 a while ago. Really nice driving car but low on power. The air suspension was incredible. Expensive to fix though. I think I would like to get a face lifted one, are those 2013 or 2014? They made some improvements on the motor too. I hear the V8 has several issue so stick to the six cylinders.

I don't come from money (dads a pilot, moms a teacher). I'm just really good at spending all of mine!

Now see, that's different. It's a Volvo. It's supposed be be old and when people ask you about miles you're supposed to say "400 to 600 thousand, somewhere in that ballpark"
The big question is - does it do what you need it to do? If so all good.
Btw I'll be first to admit to loving to drive minivans. Wife's got a new Pacifica, love that thing

It'll take me decades to get there, only has 190k on it. Did a complete suspension refresh on it several years ago, drives really nice.

They are good driving cars
I've been an Audi guy for a long time, then went to VW when the two door 2008 R32 came out and A3 had four doors and S3 was nowhere to be seen.
Put honest 90-something thousand miles on that car.
As of late not a huge fan of locally built VW though, got rid of all the extended family VWs with only my Passat remaining.
Panamera... That's one of those where buying a car should be about the experience and not the car. Go get the euro delivery, fly out there, run it on autobahn for a week, do some sightseeing and stuff. Which puts it somewhat farther out of reach.

I've got some shares of VW stock I bought after dieselgate, then sold, then bought after Brexit. It's done OK, but I expected a quicker recovery to be honest.

I've always wanted a Porsche, like most guys, since I was young. I have no idea what your finances look like but for me, when you get to the point you can legit buy them, you realize the money has much more use elsewhere in life. A lot of the 'lusting' leaves, and once the initial purchase is done, shortly there after it's just a car and you'll be wanting something more, like a Ferrari.

I'm a very easy going individual that way. I like nice things, but I don't need them in a craving kind of way. I like to enjoy using them I guess much more than having the pride of ownership.

I like Panamera, and given the opportunity I'll grab one. But way before that happens I'll throw a bunch of cool things my kids way.
About the only thing I'm still very attached to is the airplane. Built my first plane at like 60 hours total time, flew that, decided burger runs will be better done on IFR flight plan, sold my two seat VFR ride, bought a four seat IFR, ended up getting a bunch of ratings in it (IR, 3/4 CFI, CFII), flew my fam all over. Daughter never sat foot in airliner until 2.5 yo and still likes small plane better. Used to put 100-150 hours a year on that bird.
It's a reminder of dream come true or hobby gone wild if you will.

Experiences are worth far more than things. Those are experiences that they (and you) will never forget.

Meh. I don't know. I leased a new $46.6k car even though I could have paid cash and bought the whole thing outright. I don't have debt, and it works for me.

A 90-100k car like the Panamera? Are you really going to just plop down cold cash for that? That's another one of those meh moments in that sure, I could do it and still have a decent chunk of money left, but again why? A car that expensive, IMO, I would just lease it for 3 years, enjoy the hell out of it, and turn it in and consider it a toy I used and had fun with. No reason to plop out 100 grand, and if you strike the right deal, most of your lease payment should be towards depreciation (which you'd be losing on anyway if you own the car), and a smaller amount towards finance (rent) charge.
 
Problem with car loans is far too often people focus on just the monthly price and once the dealer nails that price, it ends up being a 72-96 month loan! That's freakin 6-8 years! And now your finance charge is YOOOOOOGGEEE
