Hi everyone,
I was just wondering
to get my Spin Endorsement for initial CFI can it be signed by any instructor or does it have to be a gold seal instructor?
thanks
Correct. They must be a CFI for two years. Also, go to a location and and instructor that have experience in teaching this.
Yep read the reg. The person who does any of the required instruction and endorsements for an initial CFI needs to be a "senior" CFI.ummmmm is the 2 yr thing required?
Remember, it's not training to =do= spins; it's training to be able to show "instructional knowledge" in spins.
...and people wonder why the FAA took away the spin requirement for private pilots...I've actually had applicants who got irritated when I informed them of this requirement- that they actually have to demonstrate instructional knowledge of spins. Their buddy just takes them out for a few spins. I've actually had CFI applicants who start out with their instruction, "A stall is when you fly too slow."
