Speed increase then vector for spacing

It goes both ways doesn't it? the tower will deny my request, then a female pilot with a sweet voice makes the same request 15 seconds later, and she's approved.

TWO MINUTES LATER.... phone call from female controller "APPREQ control fro higher CALLSIGN".... ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME?!
