Have an interview with the feds Wednesday. Really not sure if it's for me (even though it has been a lifelong dream, much like flying), but I figure I'll go ahead with the interview (I applied for this a YEAR before I got on with my airline).

Thats really cool. What agency?

Dude, you need to make up your freakin mind what you want to be when you grow up.

I really do. If it was all that it was cracked up to be, I'd do the special agent thing. I'm perfectly content flying though and have my doubts about the position. It's for the State Department...

Only if you send me some wings from Baseline Sports Grill on Mill and Baseline... best wings I've ever had!

Glad you got the reference! ;)

Not sure what agency you're interviewing for but I think every young boy has fantasied about being a secret agent.

I hear that both the CIA and NSA are awesome. But lots of bureaucracy and politics in both and nothing like the movies.

I hear the government has been recruiting hard at universities for arabic and farci speakers, hell anyone who is multi lingual!

But could still be a fun, yet dangerous and exciting life! Let us know what's up.

Looks like I fit the profile Max and I gotta say, Thanks but no thanks.

no you don't...if you can, you *could* do it all! I've seen more than one person pull that off too! :)

good luck on the interview!

Thats a really cool job. I've read the description and the international opportunities involved sound awesome.

I'm the same way though...I love flying and would love to fly for an airlines (and you are already on with an airline) but something about being an 1811 is really "cool". Also you get a shiny badge and gun...j/k! ;)

Lol, well it has one similarity to being a pilot. Many spies have been married multiple times and are paying child support.

Apparently the extreme secrecy, being away for undisclosed amounts of time and not being able to tell your spouse when you leave or are coming back, or where you're going is a killer for marriages/relationships!

Thanks Kristie -

My ultimate goal is to fly or the FBI, so I'm just trying to find the route there. I'd love to keep flying to that point if possible, but I know they've picked up more former DS Agents than 121 guys.

If you share that you got the job, would that mean you'd have to kill everyone on JC:)
