Since the subject of scabs was brought up in another post, I have a question from the perspective of a pilot outside the airlines looking in.
Why is it that scabs at CAL mainline hold positions as ALPA reps, and that so many of them proliferate at the high ranks at that airline? Post the '83 strike at CAL when ALPA was voted out, and up to the time when ALPA was brought back at CAL, did they "look the other way" towards scabs at that airline just so they could get back on property? And what's this BS about scabs being "in good standing" with the union?
WTF is this all about? Honest question.
