Speaking of deceptive marketing...

slushie

Still here.
The expressjet.com website has a pretty cute FA face next to
"Now Hiring.
Experienced aviation professional? ExpressJet is hiring in all aspects of the business. Learn More"

I, myself, have about 3 years experience as a regional airline birdwatcher. I can say that while there ARE some A+ flight attendants among the ranks, that picture is not a fair, representative sample.

:D Slushie out.

While not bothering with your link, I'll say the one that was working last week when I wanted to convey to the flight crew we had a fuel leak after takeoff did a bang up job....

That was ExpressJet flight 41, GEG-ONT, Tuesday, May 29th. In case anyone is paying attention.

That young lady did a great job.

Ahh Slush, I work for Ex-jet and we have some gorgeous women especially out of 1.EWR and 2. IAH. We do have a fair amount of well, women who are not the representative but overall I'd say most try to keep themselves looking good.

Here's another shot of the same image... just expanded:

Well, us gals think that the airlines should only hire handsome studly pilots because really, that's all that matters, right? :p ;)

Catch - 22

All pilots are handsome and studly and given that status by there certificate. Even if a pilot were not handsome and/or studly he must be viewed as such because he's a pilot.

Well perhaps I should round up the girls and we should conduct our own personal pilot study in order to validate your statement. :)

LOL! I think that's already been done...

There used to be a JC "Who's Hot" thread around here somewhere...

Once you view it... I think you'll agreee that it easily disproves TexasPilot's statement...

Well I guess my problem was that my studies were based on Mesa. :P

They were mostly bleh. But when one did come along.....wowzers.

ABSOLUTELY!!! I was able to conduct some "on the job" observations and can report it's about 50/50....;):D

That is one of our actual flight attendants.

I know many of the pilots and flight attendants in the pictures on the website. Most of the pilots on the website and in our inflight magazine are management pilots. It's funny when you see this professional picture in the training center or on the website and it is someone you work with. I had a training flight attendant on-board today doing F/A OE who is featured in a photo displayed on the walls of our training center. It is nice that we use our own employees, and not paid models.

It's funny. In some of hte Skyway brochures of the 1900, there are a couple of passengers on one of the airplanes. Those were two new hire pilots posing as passengers. One was Michelle who is at NWA and the other was Murphy who is at American.
