The one above goes in to much more depth, explaining, amongst other things, that NASA relies on SpaceX to keep the ISS supplied with science experiments, and that the explosions initially sounded like lightning. Seriously, click on that link for some hard hitting investigative journalism from CBS.

My dad was part of the cadre of Air Force support personnel NASA used for the shuttle program. I'm curious what my son will think of Pop Pop's me room pictures of the first Night launch or other stuff hanging on the walls when he's older.
