Eventually SpaceX plans to take us pretty far with this technology. I'd put good money on a moon shot in 5 years or less. He just brought the price down to something that a company could afford. Screw NASA, I'm putting in a resume to fly with SpaceX.

Most importantly: it advances the cost structure for space launch. Eventually, someone will ask "Why is the government still sending humans to a space station. Surely industry could do this cheaper."

I've often wondered, when we go back to the moon or better yet Mars, what then for the conspiracy nuts.

Like do they realize as people are crawling on lander parts still up there they were crazy or do they double down and go it's all staged.
