Space Cruiser Yamato (StarBlazers) themed jet

The live action Robotech movie has been stuck in development hell for a while, but it is (was) a Tobey Maguire project. So who knows? Maybe it'll happen.

I re-watched the original Robotech series in the last 10 years and...well...it ages okay...not great. The SDF/Macross series was decent, too, but where Max digs all the songs, I found most of them to be crap and just wanted to advance the story, even though I know they were integral to the plot.

I liked Star Blazers but it wasn't my favorite. Harlock was pretty badass, though.

Haha I just said it because a post or 2 before yours it was mentioned how phallic-like the spaceships are
I see that now. I didn't think it looked phallic, I didn't even know what that meant when I was 10 years old. It just looked like a battleship in space to me.

Shows age differently.

Been watching Star Trek TOS, TNG and Voyager on BBC America.

TNG looks horribly dated

Voyager should be burned. Then peed on.

TOS, especially the remastered eps with new effects, are timeless. "The City on the Edge of Forever" and "The Ultimate Computer" are as captivating today as they've ever been.

I'll grant you that DS9 had its moments. B5 was better.
