Rugby. Just watching it hurts.
By that metric, a soccer midfielder is the greatest team sport athlete ever. 'Course a marathon runner could probably fly those steam gauges, too...

Rumor has it that there was an AA guy in the jumpseat during the SWA nose gear smash in LGA. Maybe they get performance anxiety?!Washington (CNN) -- A company dispatcher who was seated in the cockpit jump seat as Southwest Airlines Flight 4013 landed at the wrong Missouri airport has been placed on paid leave pending the outcome of the investigation, the company told CNN on Tuesday.
Another person on paid leave.....
But did it climb like a six legged squirrel? One can imagine.
Over a hundred dollars a month for water. I could definitely bath in rum for cheaper!Spend enough time in the Caribbean, and you have to drink rum to not go broke. @mikecweb did the math, and rum is cheaper per ounce than water. By A LOT
Training for your next Biathalon with your buddies Jim and Jack, are you?
I played soccer (at midfield, as it turns out, what a coincidence!) in high school. It's a demanding position, at least cardiovascularly. That said, even at my most fit, I'd break like a (I MEAN A BUNCH OF STICKS, look it up, it's the correct usage of the word, damit!) if hit by even a high-school linebacker at full steam. There are all sorts of ways to be awesome at all kinds of sports. Don't know why it has to be a damned Competition about Competition every time. Hell, I even respect Curlers. Sort of. A little bit. Maybe.
