Southwest lands at wrong airport?

Yeah I think you're right. Still, while OKC lacks MLB and NFL teams and therefore the Thunder have little competition outside of college sports, I'd bet prices were higher in Seattle meaning more earning potential. Not a knock on OKC, just seems odd to me.
100% agree. Unfortunately, the NBA is garbage. When 50% of the teams go to the playoffs why does anyone care what goes on during the regular season? i think they should start their season on Christmas day and have the 2 and half month playoff schedule as they do now.

I'm not a fan of the 7 game play off series either, same with the MLB. I much prefer the NFL where it's all or nothing and it's all about who wants it more and brings it on the field rather than who can consistently play better.

Ehh, it's a different game. Baseball is good with the 7 game series. Basketball could probably get away with 5. NFL is taxing on the body and in comparison isa much quicker game.

I just have a short attention span. But then again, most people do these days. That's why the media has to blow stuff up like this incident, people don't care about facts, they care about drama.

Where the NHL is concerned, a 7 game format means that teams are far less likely to win and advance on fluky bounces.

Right, so the Southwest jet landed in Branson because major sports don't follow the correct playoff format. Investigation over.

No, apparently it was because—omg—they had a company dispatcher in the jumpseat, says the media. THIRD PERSON IN THE COCKPIT?, gasps the news outlet in outrage.

And yeah, hockey by the way. Watch hockey. Now that everything's HD, it's the best team sport on television. ^.~ I'm not even biased! .. much ..

Anybody can win one game try winning 4 out of 7 then you will know which is the better team. lets be honest a lot of football players aren't the best people and football stadiums are full of drunks at least arrow head is. The nba needs a much longer offseason and a selective playoff where only a few teams make the playoffs. Mlb has a offseason and a selective playoff, therefore its the best structurally speaking.

I realize this may come off as rude or prying, and that's not my intent... and it doesn't really matter, either way, and you certainly don't have to answer, but for the sake of my curiosity: 18 years old (over/under)?

In all fairness to keep this thread on track and not splitting into micro threads

I ate tacos last night for dinner.

I am typing on an iPhone so some of my post come out jumbled if that helps you understand.

I've been a professional pilot since 1995 and I can count the number of adult beverages I've had since then on two hands. Peer pressure is bad. M'kay?
Nah, I didn't cave to peer pressure. I drank because I wanted to. In fact, months often go by that I don't have a single drink. I have to be in the right mood to want to drink, landing a 737 at the wrong airport would probably put me in that mood.

To be fair, yes, I have met my fair share of pilots who have never had a drink in their lives. Especially in my time working for Skywest, but that was mostly a religious thing for them.

Trouble with capacity? It would be same as now, but with significant delays. If we can't get more controllers hired after already being twenty percent understaffed (soon to be close to forty), spending over three million in overtime to cover shifts in a year, you guys doing instrument only approaches is not going to improve our staffing numbers, but just make your flight experience aka delays worse. The above is only referring to the facility where I work.

ATC has been under staffed since the PATCO strike on August 3, 1981. Now the wave of replacement controllers are retiring, it starts all over again.
