Southwest Email Invitations

Just heard today that all internals who tested for the last opening and were not selected for that hiring round (8ish months ago?) will not be elgibile to apply for this round.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a majority of this class go external, due to this.

And on that note, I'm going to be blunt. Hopefully nobody from the airlines finds out who you are because they probably wouldn't hire you based on your ability to handle pressure, because from what I am seeing, you do not handle it well at all.

Are you sure this is accurate? That would really suprise me.
 
Well the first Requistion didn't ask anything about previous testing for the position. Then they cancelled it and re-posted it asking if you have tested for the job in the past 12 months. So that makes sense. Actually.
 
Initially there was talk that internals that applied within the last 12 months would be ineligible to test with this requisition. That has been revised to only exclude those that have tested within the last 6 months.
 
I was invited to test but it was rescinded. I guess it just wasn't my time. All I did on the requisition was answer "yes" to the question of "have I been invited to test with Southwest in the last 12 months." Apparently I disqualified myself with that answer. Oh well.....

Same here, it's not the end of world. This will come around again.
 
Have all the emails gone out? Am I late to the party? I haven't gotten any communication as to si or no .
 
Some folks already have the results of their test and have been invited back for the formal interviews.....That's what I was told by the Purple People Person today. Said they are going to try to interview as many as they can right on thru the holidays...

The test was not hard and it was not easy...it was Juuuust right. If you've been dx-ing for more than 6 months, you should get this done easily. They confirmed hiring 18-20 (which someone already posted waaaay back).
Class to begin in Feb week 2 or 3.
Everyone and Anyone that didnt go this time,....just relax. As PLjenkins said there's gonna be more to come, but not in 2014. Maybe early 2015. They are scrambling to fill this class and get everyone thru background checks etc. Get 'yer little gold wings!.

My guess is they may not even fill the 20 slots on this round with the folks they have....so it's all good. Lots of cake for everyone.
Purple cake, that is.
