What's the internal/external ratio for hiring?

No set ratio. my class a couple years ago was 25% internal 75% external. the most recent class was 70% internal 30% external. depends on the quality of applicants

Yes. Just knowing other companies though, not necessarily in the dispatch field, some like people right out of school so they can take someone with an open mind and mold them into what they want them to be. At pretty much every job I've had I've had co workers who had the whole "That's not how we did it at my last job," attitude.

I don't think anyone will tell you not to apply, but if we're all being honest/realistic I would have to say the outcome is pretty unfavorable with absolutely *no* 121 experience.

While you will meet a few people with the, "that is not how we did it," mindset, there are plenty more of us willing to adapt to the new vs. Cheering on the old. Also, in dispatch there are nine different ways to solve a problem and get the same answer.

I've noticed it depends on which internet browser and possibly computer I use to access my profile. Some show it, some dont

I tried logging in last night and couldn't get the ICIMS page to load. This morning it worked just fine and everything was there.

Just checked ICIMS, and my app status says "closed complete" for this round...however, my app from last March still says "received submission. Anyone else have this happen to them, too? Anyone get a TNBT email yet?

I'm internal at southwest and they sent an email out at 9:55a (central) this morning saying if you received a thanks but no thanks email it was sent in error. Then I received a thanks but no thanks email around 4pm today. I know 5 of my coworkers all got the same email so I'm pretty sure its bogus. As far as I know they'll let all internal at least test as long as they have their license and don't have more than 3 occurrences.

holy crap....not this again...The same thing happened with the bogus emails...they sent test invites to every single person that applied!!! The forum was lit up....then they send another emails saying "Disregard"....and then they scrubbed the whole thing and posted a new job req and emailed everyone telling us to apply again...This was in Dec 2014...Big Screw Up... But those that posted first the second time around, we all got testing invites....So if its the same syndrome....I would say stay close...
