The Chinese 757s are the last ones built and they will replace older ones on the line, which in turn will be parted out. Same as the parked planes. Maybe a few more on line, but the category ain't growing.
Hmm, maybe I will get my hands on one. I missed the 727...A little birdy says they're picking up some later-model 757s from Asia and also pulling some "mothballed" 75s from dry storage in the desert. Apparently, despite what Boeing says, the 737-900 is no 757 replacement.
DAYUM! Just got home from a six day DKR. Can't a brother catch a break? No rest for the weary!
15% higher fuel burn per seat, CRTs, a hydraulic system that needs FloMax, and a MTOW that sucks-up poops-out the landing fees. What's not to love?
