Competition was pretty fierce, I believe half have more than a year of international experience and one had 13 from a regional, also some were recommendations. There will absolutely be more openings in the coming months as we continue to grow and as people don't move from NY.

Still no TBNT for myself, though from the sounds of it it's a negative on this one. Thinking of taking the ETOPS and AIFP courses at Sheffield in maybe hopes that will increase chances next time. In my interview, I was actually specifically asked if I'd taken those courses, and not having taking those, in addition to the lack of any ETOPS experience at all is what I think may have made the difference.

I think it's better to go back and take those courses after you have a bit of dispatching experience and you're not burned out from the regular class, oral and practical. I did take them myself right after I finished class and if I had it to do over again I'd go back and take them at a later date. The EWINS class looks good as well although they didn't offer that one when I was there and I've never been back to take it.
