Sounds like this F/A was having a bad day...

I promised I would keep my mouth shut (which I guess was misunderstood) but can someone PLEASE tell me where I was "doggin" on the FA...that was not my intention at all and apologize if it was taken in that manner. I simply said he was having a bad day, which yes was a broad statement, but did not criticize his actions or his job. If there is something I said that was misleading, and unintentional, please directly inform me.

I know their purpose is safety of flight but this may have taken it a little to far...

Lol, lucky I'm not an FA or I'd redefine the phrase "a little to far":whip:

What happens if you have a passenger stuck in the can? Say a return flight from Cancun or something? Do you tell ATC you need to hold, or what?

Last summer on my way from DEN to ORD a pax decided he needed to take a dump while we were taxiing to the runway. The pilots had to stop on the taxiway until this idiot finished.

I owulden't sound like the FA is haveing a bad day. I would say the FA is DEMANDING the person comply with his instructions. I would do the same. Their job is not an easy one, and he doesn't need some idot making it any harder.

LOL...you got me. HAHA. Anyways, I guess what I meant by that is he could have chosen his words a little better and still have been stern to the passenger. No matter how fricken stupid the guy is, he still is a customer and is the only reason that F/A even has a job. I'm sure that guy will think twice before choosing to fly with US Airways again...and hopefully he thinks twice about ever flying again!!! :chair:

Better knock on wood! :)

I had a wonderful experience on continental airlines a year ago.... I saw a nice chunk missing out of one of the flaps...I proceeded to tell the flight attendant that she should mention that to the pilots before they push back... First I got lectured how I shouldn't be scared of flying...Then I got a lesson on how flaps work...She then teaches me that flaps move up and help turn the plane.... I told her they actually move down & have nothing to do with helping the plane bank or yaw...She told me that I had no idea what I was talking about and if I didn't get over it she would kick me off the plane............. Talk about wonderful customer service..... You would think flight attendents would be extra nice to a continental million mile gold member
