If you went to ATP and are now working at an airline I would like to know...and how long after you finished did you get hired by one.

No graduate of ATP has ever gone on to work for an airline.

I finished the program September 1st of 2004. Started working in the office September 10th. Started instructing by late October and was hired at an airline by July. You do the math. Some people were going much faster. Some a little (or a lot) slower. It all depends on what the airlines are doing.
 
started atp ACPP-90 3/29/04.
hired by atp 6/17/04 (give or take a day or two)
finished atp ACPP-90 6/27/04.
first day in the atp office 6/29/04.
out of the office and instructing 8/18/04 (give or take)
last day at ATP 5/2/05
airline ground school 5/3/05.
 
Finished the program and started instructing in May '05. Started airline ground school in December '05.

At that time most regional airline mins were 1500 and 200, and most weren't even hiring at that... with the exception of places like Great Lakes. I was actually shooting for SkyWest since I had an "In" there to get hired on an internal rec. at 1000TT... I would have had over 700 multi at that time. 1 month before I hit the 1000 mark XJT lowered their mins to 600/100. I didn't really believe it but I went ahead and put my app in online. 24 hours later I got a phone call to fax my resume, 2 days later I got a phone interview, 4 days later I was in an interview in Houston, and less than a week after that I was in class on Nov. 1.

Quite a ride.

Hired with ATP in early May 2004.
Began instructing Dallas with ATP in early June 2004.
Attended ATP's Regional Jet Standards Certification in November 2004.
Interviewed with ExpressJet in January 2005.
Last day as an ATP instructor was February 6, 2005.
Start date with ExpressJet February 7, 2005.

Finished ACCP February '02
Instructed from March '02 to Feb '04 (At ATP and at an FBO Flight School)
FO LJ60 Feb '04 to Nov '05
CPT LJ60 and CL604 Nov '05 to Current

Pay is substantially higher than any RJ Capt and schedule is quite good.
