Sometimes the price of freedom...

What happened?

Long, sordid story. Cliff's notes version tho:
  1. Relationship of ten years ended when current BF had the opportunity to pursue someone better and younger.
  2. I am now free in a way that I haven't been for quite a while, and I feel like life is opening back up in some ways.
  3. I'm considering moving to Sweden.
  4. I came up with that line and really liked it, so it went straight into the story I'm currently working on. And here, and twitter, and... because why waste a good line?

Oh ok, I see. Sorry to hear that, hopefully you land on your feet soon.

If a 10 year relationship ends over something like that, be grateful that it didn't last another 10.
Cheer up, fox, it'll be alright.

Besides, you've got the women size 12 trench coat and a hockey stick, the hell can you be possibly upset over?

I'm doing ok. I'm also facing a paperwork-based medical deferral of an uncertain duration, and a snowballing amount of debt...something fairly new to me. I'm spending time contemplating what to do with an uncertain future; moving to Sweden, for example, is something that I'll probably do for a while, if I can actually find a way to do it. (See my post in Expatriate aviation)

I'm curious to find out what the future brings. I feel like I stagnated for ten years. (Despite the whole book writing, bush piloting, aerobatics flying, flight instructing, airline job getting lifestyle)

So I should move to NYC and fight crime... I can go by the name of "Cassie Jones" and maybe I'll find some crime-fighting buddies down in the sewers there.

Or maybe I should take my crime fighting to the streets of Stockholm, instead...

Decisions, decisions.
