Well the response to this has been EXCELLENT. I have 77 requests so far!

I am going to be talking to someone in ALPA tommorow about putting together a little information packet that includes these books.

I think that it would be a good deed (on top of an already great deed by Seggy and the ALPA guys) if you guys getting the books will Pay It Forward, and do as Seggy has done and offer those same books free to other young pilots when you have read them (three or four times, of course!). It can multiply the power of his gift many times over if you do so. One way to make a difference in your chosen profession.

Volume 1 should be minimum-required reading for anyone interested in a career in the airline business.

Ought to be a written test on it prior to your commercial written. Or whatever they call 'em these days, "knowledge exams" or something?
