On the other subject, did have a wtf moment in a park last week. Went just 30-40 feet off the trail with kids, BSing with a friend, kids checking out this giant bonfire setup /hut looking thing made of tree bark (I did casually say "$5 there's a dead hobo under there"), when few minutes later the kids are like "hey, there's toys in there"
Went to look - my 5yo moved some tree bark to a side and revealed an entrance to a sizeable dugout area/room. Friend freaked out and wanted tf out of there, so I didn't get a chance to investigate further. From what I could see (half of that room?) I saw nothing of interest (did miss the glow in the dark rubber duckie that kids talked about somehow though), no sleeping bags, dead bodies, much of anything, but it was definitely a well concealed hideout. Until kid went moving pieces around, could never tell there was an entrance in that pile of sticks and tree bark.
Closed it up and went to chase the friend down, but yeah

*SIGH*... I expected this type of response. And here I thought only Mainline guys lived in a bubble.. There are a lot of eyewitness accounts here in rural Texas alone... I have been in the Sam Houston forest and let Me tell You there is a LOT of uncharted forest there alone... The most common area for Big foot sightings is the pacific Northwest. Right now (the same as UFO'S) The govt is apparently doing a "soft disclosure". The government doesn’t want to have to limit or stop the logging industry as a result. And if BF exists and is endangered, the forests will have to be protected. Make sense?
