Hi ya'll its been awhile. Some jackwagon broke into my truck and stole my wings. I get it they are only 9 bucks at the uniform store. But those are the wings I was winged with. I hope that slime ball chokes on them. The kicker is besides a pair of cheap sunglasses I can't identify anything else stolen from my vehicle. It does not make any kind of sense to me.

Sorry to hear about it, karma will get them eventually. Any damage to your truck?

Sorry again. Try and keep just about everything in your trunk. Out of sight is out of mind for these bastards.
True. Having a truck makes this a little more difficult to accomplish, especially if your windows aren't tinted. A friend of mine had his flight bag stolen out of his car a couple weeks before his CFI ride, lost his headset, logbook and GPS. Sucks to be violated like that, especially in the case of sentimental items.

So your avatar is a BMW but you drive an old truck?

Sucks. I work in Sac and try to never leave in anything in my car that don't mind losing. everything else remains out of view. I once had an empty backpack stolen out of the back of my car at lunch in a super busy strip mall parking lot. The backpack was whatever but getting the broken window fixed was a PITA. Stupid tweakers.

Sorry this happened to you, it sucks, I've had it done to me as well. I actually caught the same guy 4 times trying to get into my car---wireless camera for the win.

Here's one thing I noticed about car burglaries since yours seems a bit odd. These thieves actually try and steal personal information by the way of car insurance cards, registration etc. They will take a photo of your personal information that is on these forms. Not trying to be a debbie downer and add to your stress and frustration but I do want you to be aware of this and keep an eye out for bank account information and so on.

Hopefully noting comes of it and the thief was just a tweaker.(sp)

Hmm I'm trying to determine what information a identity thief can pull off a insurance card. They can get your name, but in order to do any damage they at least need a birth date and place of birth as well (because then the smart ones can determine a SS number).

Hopefully not enough to do any damage, but in my neighborhood there was a rash of break ins and nothing was taken, but the registration and insurance cards of some victims were placed nicely and in way someone would be taking a picture of them...if that makes any sense. People had money and other valuables that were not even touched.

Who knows with these fools nowadays.
