Ok so I was half expecting it today anyway. He said I was getting ready to solo at around 7 hours but I had 14 when I finally did. We just went up and were doing landings when he finally said pull over there and turn it off so I can jump out. I gotta admit, I was nervous. Anyway, I went up and did 4 landings including a go-around because a helo was on the runway, and there was a deer on the runway when I was about to T/O. The funny thing was that there was another student who soloed at the same exact time and I guess some of the line guys said that his instructor was nervous while mine was really calm.
Also, I met a charter pilot and talked to him for about 30min. I'm totally surprised how everyone is very friendly and willing to share knowledge.
O yea, can't forget that NotCoolenoughtoFly called me right as I was walking to my car so she was pretty much the first to know!
