Two questions:

1) How many 145s are operated for Delta. I thought it was just a couple and they were on the way out.

I realize DAL is a lot bigger but was it not the intention to put bigger planes on these routes (Mainline, CRJ900 and EMB 170/175)? I thought mostly mainline was the selling point? Then to fly to USairways, CAL/UAL, American hubs also seem odd? Who knows. Guess this was a let down to many...... Hope DAL is able to make a profit running 50 seat RJs to all these cities where Props were running and USairways was unable to make profitable......
 
It's going to be interesting to see what Airways picks up out of DCA and if they downsize a lot of the former mainline DAL flights to RJs like Delta did in LGA.
 
The current schedule may change over time in our favor. Time will tell. But then again I might be naive.
