I threw in an open time request a few months ago and I was awarded a trip that deadheaded to AMS and then to HAM. Then flew HAM-KEF-CYYT-KMSP or something like that. But since it was the first 321, they bought me off the trip :/

See, I wanted to grab the kid from my video, take him to the factory, have him say something about @Seggy and make it a spectacle, but NOOOOOOOO.

I get to steal the precious from some unsuspecting ATL FO, too @Derg . But he/she gets paid for it... that makes up for the disappointment, right??

I rode out to DTW with a Spirit guy who was going to get a new 321 the other day. It sounds simultaneously fun and also like a lot of work.

1 minute 55 seconds is my record from brakes release to brakes set! The trick is keeping the speed down a bit so the radius is small...

It's required to be offered to line pilots through the normal trip award process, then the trip is immediately bought from them and put on the LCA/IPs who will be conducting the delivery.

@Derg wasn't thrilled with it being bought from him!

Only the first few are coming from Hamburg for us... first Mobile delivery is in December (I'm assuming still tentative). Most from there out will be Mobile with a few Hamboogers here and there. For some reason, I think it will be quite a bit less contested to get them out of lower alabama....
