What the hell are we doing here!?!

I didn't see any snow in GFK, but I did in Roseau on tuesday which is about a 45 minute flight to the northeast. It was pretty slushy outside, what a mess. I even slid at a stop sign. I think it's supposed to be in the 30s this weekend too. It's almost June! Why me.

Ahahaha...we've all been sporting shorts and sandals down south here. Sorry, hadda rub it in.
wink.gif

We've gotten to sport shorts a few times here, but one day it will be 80 and the next day it will be 30.......kinda crazy.

Wow, but one can never be satisfied with weather. I WOULD NOT like being in Arizona during the summer.

Hmm..let's see....
Cold's not any fun,
but neither is the stickiness during the summer. Ugh, stickiness + 120F = crap

Of course, I have yet to try both scenarios.
Lowest I've experienced here in NY (that I remember) was -5F
Highest I've experienced.... 106F

But from what I remember, I think the cold was more bearable.
I'll have to see this winter at ND, I guess.

It's possible you could see both of those temps in ND during the same year. Get's pretty warm up here during the summer

Right, I was looking at the average temps for Grand Forks, and it seems like 80's pretty much the average mid-July. Not too bad, that's as much I can tolerate anyway. Anything higher, and I'll go crazy with the stickiness/itchiness!

Oh and on top of this, I was speaking to my friend the other day (he went to the summer camp last year at UND—he'll be going this year as well) and he mentioned the mosquito/snow comparison, hehe...

Noooooooooooooo.

Just to rub it in, in San Diego right now it's 80 degrees and Sunny. It's been 75-80 lately and at night it gets down to the mid 60's. The weather doesn't really change around here, and here I am getting ready to go to UND??!?! I'm sure I will get a lot of people asking me why th h3ll I'd decide to move to ND.

To try and help your career!! Don't let anyone get you down while trying to suceed in life.

But on the other hand, I'll make fun of you if you are up here. Heck, I make fun of myself for living in this wasteland. Good Luck, I'll still be up here too, so if you need any advice, find me on here.

Jason, are you going to UND this fall as well?

[side note]
I can imagine how depressing it must be during the winter over there. Imagine, if I find NY depressing during the winter, ND must be hell, my god.

Finally, some warmer weather has shown up. Here is the TAF for tomorrow, I can't wait, I love boomers.

Is ektachrome a kind of film? What is it?

Tell me about it man!

I'm a bit worried about the aid as well!

Geez, and I still haven't received any letter for the summer aid! Yikes.
