SkyWest pilot pay package

Let the record show that I have not once bid for that much flying. It has been gifted to me via the "global solution."
January: Credit 112:30 Block 62:03 (what few work rules we have, I make liberal use of, you see)
February: Credit 98:30 Block 70:53
March: Credit 102:44 Block 76:59
April: Credit 99:44 Block 71:44
May: Credit 93:44 Block 92:44 ( :( :( :( )

May is so saturated that I can't make any changes without running afoul of our buffers. Required minimum line values of 85-90 a month.

March was like that for me. 87 block 100.5 credit. Granted, being paid 6:37 for a :37 minute flight (had a few cancellations that day) and being paid 4:00 for a :22 minute test flight certainly helped the cause that month.

What is the opposite of "soft time?"

:(

Dude, you need to pace yourself. 90 hours block??? That is like work, or that thing they call a "job".
You want to know the awesome thing? I am still home in my own bed every night. It helps to have out and backs that are three hours each way. Its a beautiful schedule.

Then that hurts.

Really? That's kind of ridiculous, especially for first-time airline pilots. You really have no idea what you're really looking at.
Not allowing someone to vote, isn't that unAmerican?

But seriously, why shouldn't new pilots at a non-Union shop not be allowed to vote?

That's awesome. 15 days to nock that out and 0 overnights.

Tell you what High School, I'm bored this morning so I'll bite; how is Skywest NOT estopped from following the agreement with SAPA?

I thought I was on the ignore list? Nice to talk to you again, John!

You can talk to the ALPA attorneys if you want legal opinions. Suffice it to say that they disagree with you, and you know, they've passed the bar.
