SkyWest orders four Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprops

That was the jist of what I was hearing before I left. No way inter island flying was going to happen. To many other companies already doing it at a loss.
 
Inter-island-

Makes no sense, AS already flies to all the neighbor islands, so there is no point in offering connections between them.

SkyWest AS express-

It is an old rumor, but it has been getting a lot louder recently. Many alleged upper managment sightings on SLC-SEA flights.

SLC is also rumored to be one of the next destinations for Alaska. Isn't SkyWest based in St. George, UT (way down in southwest Utah)?

Mgmt was on my flight to SEA on the 4th. We shared the hotel van. Both and FO and I knew theres only one reason they would be in SEA........cough cough.....Alaska Airlines.....

But that doesn't mean a deal has been reached, only that they are working on one.

Just heard through the grapevine that Skywest/Horizon Air - Alaska Air Group have finalized the sub-lease of the CRJ700's...4 to ASA, 4 to SkyWest. That could be the reason they were flying to Seattle (both Alaska Air/Horizon Air's HQ are in Seattle) ;)

Believe it when you see it. We've had United, Alaska and Horizon all "spotted" at our HQ in the past 6 months.

Yeah, 'cause everything must benefit Skywest pilots. Pinnacle pilots aren't likely gonna benefit from one list with Mesaba and Colgan, but guess what we're doing?

Neither would your crappy health benefits but look what happened there. It's funny that you fail to realize that Jerry would throw you under a bus if it meant a profit.
