Skywest Interview

Didn't get that question on my SkyWest interview on Tuesday.

It has been six months since I did interviews over there, so they could have changed it up since then! If that's the case, all bets are off and I'm clueless to the process! :insane:

He knew right away that I was pretty thouroughly gouged. I didn't get any of the typical questions that they have been know to ask.

How'd the interview go? Any advice for mine tomorrow? Did they mention what class dates they're currently filling?

Hey guys, sorry a little late, just been really busy! It went really well! Great bunch of guys. I'm surprised there was only 6 of us with only 2 interviewers, but that was pretty cool because it made it a little more personal and everyone got to know each other better I think. It all went great though, I feel really good about it! Just as they told us, relax, I know it's much easier said than done but that is the best thing to try and do. They said they are trying to fill May 7th (CRJ) and June 4th (Bro) right now, havn't heard from them yet though, hopefully just because of the weekend. I guess we will see this week maybe. Good luck with your interview!

I've heard of some new-hires being called onthe Friday before a class starting the following Monday. You may still get the 7th. Maybe I'll see you in class on Monday. :rawk:

I know we are hurting for pilots, but I wish we wouldn't pull that crap. Makes it hard for folks especially the current employer.

Well I sure hope so. I'm not so sure now that I hear everyone on the 30th got hired on the spot while I havn't heard anything yet.

I interviewed on the 26th... still waiting to hear. Write back if you get the job. Now it's midweek, so I doubt they'll offer Monday's RJ class.

Guys, don't worry if you don't hear right away, even if people who interviewed last week got told right away. If it gets close to a class date and they haven't filled it yet, I'm pretty sure they're more likely to tell you right after the interview so that there's some chance they can fill that class. I wouldn't stress about it, especially if it hasn't even been a week yet.

From my understanding, if its really short notice they give you the option of waiting for the next class. But I could be wrong. When I interviewd I spoke with a guy who interviewed the previous Wednesday, was called the following Friday and was offered the class starting the following Monday. The way I understood it was it was kind of a "there's a slot open if you want it, otherwise the next class is......".

:yeahthat:

It seems those who get phone calls are those whome they are giving short notice before an upcomming class. Under normal cirumstances it still 5-10 business days through the mail.

Don't be so sure. You can pobably expect the June 4 Bro class, but don't be too surprised if they call you Thursday or Friday to offer the 17th. It's happened before.
