I believe the job requires a dispatch certificate.I really should apply for this. Just can't see myself living in mormonville
gambling is for fools. invest, not gamble. That is why all good mormons go to LAS.![]()
I see the requirements on the skywest post says they want you to relocate to st. G. Does that mean they wont let you commute? anybody know? What would the hours be?
They can't not allow you to commute but with no commuter policy and if call ins add up you're out of a job. SGU is super hard to non rev into, jumpseat is just as difficult with so many pilots living there. I lived in SLC the whole time I worked there and had a crash pad in SGU. I ended up driving most of the time to maximize the time at home. The schedule is 4 on 3 off 10hr shifts. Bid every 3 months, hours will vary depending on what you get assigned in the bid. earliest shift starts at 2am, latest begins at 4pm with lots of shifts starting between those times. Overall I loved working there, met a lot of great people and the flight benefits are the best I know of for any airline. You get Delta, United, American and AlaskaI see the requirements on the skywest post says they want you to relocate to st. G. Does that mean they wont let you commute? anybody know? I know they are in the same building as GoJet and the only two guys I know that worked at Transtate said it was a super small room with just a couple people and both of them left and went to Skywest, now one is at United and the other Southwest.Anybody have any info on Transtate air in STL. anybody been there?
