Not that long, its bigger base for brasilia. PDX is the most senior bro base. Lax and slc about the same, lax probably a little more senior.
 
The two systems that are the most painful to learn are the electrical system and the prop system. The rest of it is "unique" but easy peasy. It is pretty easy to fly. V1 cuts are a piece of cake!

You're right. For the most part the systems are easy, just the electrical system is intense. As for V1 cuts, they are especially easy if the prop does not feather.

Out of fun can you send me the electrical schematic? I'll like to look at it. I've been looking at 480/6140VAC for over a week.

Ever see what a city looks like just outside a military base? That's a good way to describe the area surrounding FAT. I'd figure out how to strap the bags to your bike. I just moved here and ended up in Clovis... 12 minute drive.

I have a question for any skywest folks who have gone through training recently. @Autothrust Blue I know you haven't gone through recently but maybe you can point me in that direction:

They say for day2 you need a white shirt and black tie. I have that. Problem is now I am contemplating if they want black pants too. Nowhere in the packets or emails does it say black pants but I don't want to be caught off guard. I hardly ever ever wear black pants. I was going to bring khaki pants and wear a black sweater over the shirt+tie when not taking the picture.

I don't imagine that would be a problem would it?

That *shouldn't* be a problem. They take your badge picture that day. What they do it place epaulets on your shoulders and snap a pic.
