Hell Delta might as well just fold Horizon and Comair into the Delta mainline group to get wages down if that happens :)

That could be a good thing for us at Comair right? That wouldn't be so bad!!!!! I've heard rumors of a merger with Delta and AAG too.

I've been hearing that rumor for almost as long as the Delta/NWA merger rumor before it happened. Sure, it happened, but the rumor was going around for 5+ years before it actually happened.

Personally? I have no idea, but it's a bigger potential mess than most people realize, especially when you add in fine folks like JC Lawson of RJDC fame.

It's hard to know what to say anymore. Does Alaska Air want to shed Horizon? I heard like 5 years ago Horizon was a good regional to work for.

There was supposed to be a May 10 announcement and it didnt happen, one this week and don't think it will happen. We will never get answers until there's a press release or it's on epic or the local news esp. Channel 9 in Cincinnati or in the Cincinnati Enquirer. If a rumor comes true that we don't hear about, like the Compass and Mesaba deal, it can't be bad for Comair because every possible bad scenerio has been laid out already on every message board and crew room etc. I've never heard any real good rumors so what comes out may be really great and we'll be the envy of every regional carrier like we used to be...:beer:

I hear ya about when it was good in the past. I've only been around for just over 4 years-so i know there are plenty of things that i have missed and not been around for-but this place has had its good moments for me-and i've heard from alot of other people that there were even better times.

As far as the ALPA web-boards go- i dont think its so much ALPA reps or the like of putting things on there. Its mostly that small % of the pilot group that just stirs up garbage. Only a small amount of the time will a ALPA rep of some kind chime in on something. But even that is quite rare.
