E! Hollywood True Story time....

Flying the 900 into ATL on base leg, ATC points us out to a DAL B767 and refers to us as "the heavy CRJ" to which the 76 pilot replies with a laugh. I look over at my FO slowly waving my fist and quietly saying "bastards".

I have to agree with Emu on this- its the wtf stuff that seems to happen. At least that has been my experience over the past few short years i've been here.
 
I've not been around the APC boards- but if they are anything like the ALPA web-boards, its just a huge lump of misery.

Sometimes there are useful things there-like a trip trade or a common question (non-rev travel to XYZ...etc).

But thats about it.

Its a shame that the trolls found the end of the rainbow-which is this website (which is awesome).

Does ALPA predict all these doom and gloom scenarios for OH? I randomly found this site on another FB page related to Comair and the rumor was posted with a link to this thread: Skywest + Comair Acquisition or Merger, which led me to this site. This rumour has been ramping up, the departure of DS, may have led people to do more digging to find answers. There was supposed to be a May 10 announcement and it didnt happen, one this week and don't think it will happen. We will never get answers until there's a press release or it's on epic or the local news esp. Channel 9 in Cincinnati or in the Cincinnati Enquirer. If a rumor comes true that we don't hear about, like the Compass and Mesaba deal, it can't be bad for Comair because every possible bad scenerio has been laid out already on every message board and crew room etc. I've never heard any real good rumors so what comes out may be really great and we'll be the envy of every regional carrier like we used to be...:beer:
 
Apparently there is a management conference call on Tuesday about what is going to happen. I've heard so many rumors lately, I can't even keep track of them. The latest one I've heard was DL is purchasing Alaska Air Group and will be merging Comair with Horizon :D That be one big expensive pilot group...ha!
