It's a good way to get METARS too, type in your route and you scrollover the airports along the way and the weather pops up.

http://www.aeroplanner.com/ has VFR charts for free. The rest of the charts are available with the pay service (which is really nice, btw).

I use skyvector all the time. I like that it has all VFR and IFR charts available.

oh cool this one is even better than skyvector because all the charts are spliced together into one image.

I found Skyvector on accident while looking through Airnav.com. Pretty useful tool, but I need to check out Runway finder if they splice the sectionals together. That is the one annoying thing about Skyvector.

Very helpful tool...I use it a lot for quick planning before I actually figure the numbers manually.

man it would be sweet if one had the jepp IFR charts

I like SkyVector.com much better. I like being able to right click on the map and being able to plan. I actually sent them an email suggestion that you should be able to save planned flights.

My first time in to DTN I had lost my MEM chart, so I screenshotted the Shreveport area to make sure I didn't bust any airspace or become the first (?) A-10 Air-to-Air gun kill.
