Felt like I should respond to this one since I work for the guys:
Yup, we have a couple of Seminoles from other flight schools. Nope, we don't fly them after 14,500hrs. on the spar. We either sell 'em or get them refurbished to like new. They're cheap to buy and safe to fly. We're have some of the least expensive twins to rent in the nation, that's why people want to come from all over the U.S. and Europe to fly with us.
Does that mean they're not safe, because they're enexpensive? Nope. Believe me, I have a pretty good sense of self preservation- I wouldn't be flying the things to Arizona, Virginia, Florida, etc. if they weren't airworthy.
I don't think the previous post was a stab at us. If someone is worried about our aircraft, I'd rather have it out in the open to talk about rather than never hear about it at all. So hey, if you have any questions, let me know!!
