Skydiving Caravan PIC - Good Time Builder

I know of two job openings, one that could be filled in the near future, one that will begin March/April. There are two dropzones that need pilots. One near Santa Barbara, California and one in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The California DZ (Skydive Santa Barbara, Lompoc, CA) could be filled asap, while the Minnesota job (Westside Skydivers, Winsted, MN) will be available March/April.

Pilots need Commercial Instrument ASEL, atleast 800TT. Any diver driving experience and single engine turbine experience is a plus, but not a deal breaker. Experienced diver drivers will probably get $15/load. Without any experience, may start at $10/load. Best day I ever had was 27 Loads, but there were many days where we did less than 10. I think my summer average was 12 loads a day.

For those of you considering these jobs, let me be frank and tell you that this is a great time building opportunity, and the money can be good when the weather is good. This is not a luxurious job by any means. If you can afford to get around to these places and deal with the fluctuating income, it can be a great time building experience and turbine builder.

Lompoc would require relocation, but assistance is not available. For the MN dropzone, living in Winsted is not req'd, Minneapolis is close enough to commute from.

Ask me questions and I'll answer best I can. Send me the resumes for those of you that are interested.

Thanks!

Would the Lompoc location need someone as a backup on the weekends? I live in Ventura and have weekends off.
1300 TT
500 hours as a C-182 jump pilot in Camarillo
300 twin turbine

Yeah, clearly diver driving in MN is lackluster compared to CA, oh well. Thanks for the inquiries, we have 2 good candidates for the MN job. Cheers!
