Greetings,
I am a 29 year old aspiring aviator with 0 time, seeking out my dream.
I'm not necessarily trying to fly for a major airline, but at minimum, regional or freight.
A few curve balls....
1. I am a single parent (Full Time)
2. As recessions have it, my once successful business has gone under, leaving my credit damaged in its wake. While I have not filed bankruptcy, I am contemplating the benefits.
3. I have completed 2 1/2 years of college at a local university.
4. I am a veteran, with honorable discharge status.
Are there any flight training programs that work with single parents? Are there any applicable government benefits (Section 8, Food Stamps) available to assist while in training?
While I'm embarrassed to admit needing help, I have come to terms that I do.
Thanks for your time.
