Keep in mind that gyroscopic precession is only a factor when you pitch up or down. Once a pitch attitude is established, there is no precession force.

I got to ride along in an MU-2 a couple weeks ago and the opposite is true, left rudder in climbs and right rudder in descents. It's because the props spin the other way :insane:!
