Single Engine Turboprop Time?

Question for ya'll. Is PIC in a single engine turbo prop (caravan or pilatus) as valuble as PIC in a twin turbo prop?
I'm asking the value as it relates to the major airlines and even charter or corporate jobs that fly jets. I know they want to see PIC turbine time, but how do they value the single turbine?

As a general answer - no they don't weight single engine turbine time very highly. Single engine turbine PIC time is better than no turbine PIC time but if you can get a single turbine PIC job then it should be to build time and pay the bills while you're looking for a multi turbine PIC job.


Multi turbine PIC trumps all.
