Simon dies aboard united airplane

A dead hare at O'Hare, seems a little ironic. RIP Hare today, gone tomorrow.

Maybe he missed his Mom.

I had a couple of rabbits as pets when I was very young, an albino Dutch dwarf and a lop eared something or other. They were very cool pets. I'd of lost my mind as a 9 year old if that had happened to them then. But there was no internet and my rabbits weren't famous.

Strange circumstances, huh? Being that freakishly large was healthy? If my pet meant a lot to me, it wouldn't ever ride in cargo.

Who the eff would put a rabbit in the hold?!

I'd put a cat or dog in the hold before a rabbit...and I would never put either of those in a hold unless I had no choice what-so-ever. Rabbits can die of heat stroke when it is over 70*F and can fairly easily get startled to the point of a heart attack.

I'm not vet, but I'd bet it died from being overweight. But hey, more fuel for the PR fire that's roaring over there.
