Silver air ways hiring all

The really ironic thing to me is that all my single pilot part 135 PA31/350 time counts because it was a multi engine airplane under "commuter operations" and thus requires an ATP, but a BE1900 under on an on demand certificate doesn't count, explain that one! HAHAHAAA
Not that this has any basis in reality but I've seen and heard a lot of places say it's just 1000 multi pic under 135 or 91k. I don't think that's true though.

Thought it had to be over 10 seats? I'm not sure. I haven't really looked into the details yet.

Edit: According to ALPA, I was incorrect. So that PA31 counts as long as it's in commuter operations under 135.243.

You have a link for the ALPA interpretation?

It has to be scheduled commuter ops in a multi engine airplane, 135 on demand and 91 ops dont count no matter the type of airplane. Could be a 777 operated under 91k and it wouldnt count, but my 1000 hrs of Navajo time in Alaska counts!

You should read the reg again.

135.243(a)(1) time counts. And 135.243(a)(1) time consists... "Of a turbojet airplane, of an airplane having a passenger-seat configuration, excluding each crewmember seat, of 10 seats or more, OR of a multiengine airplane in a commuter operation as defined in part 119 of this chapter..." Key word being "OR". Therefore a Piper PA31/350 operated under commuter operations as defined in chapter 119 counts.

Ohhh, I see your point, ANY turbojet time would count then. Correct? Even if its not operated under commuter status?
