Silly aviation goals

Round the world trip
Fly with Budd Davisson (one of, if not the best av writer currently. In the genre of Gann and Morgan)
Fly the following: (in no particular order)
A-1 Skyraider
F4U Corsair (or the FG1)
FW-190
Me-109
Hawker Sea Fury
F-86K or Canadair F-86
F-100 Super Sabre
MiG-21

and on and on and on...

Just be a professional airshow pilot period. Not so far off, just all comes down to $ again.

Yeah, but Sean D. Tucker is sponsored and backed by the world's largest enterprise software company. He's not sweating it from airshow to airshow wondering if he'll have enough money at the end of the year to fix his plane. Most if not all of that is already taken care of.... Plus a salary. ;)

1. Fly a P-51 or an F6F.
2. Get paid to fly and not really have to worry about my livelihood.
3. I"d like to never bend anything airplane related.....
4. Always thought if I won the lottery, I'd have my fun plane (Probably an SR22 G3 Turbo) but would love to own a PC12 to carry friends and family around in. The Angel Flight idea earlier would probably be incorporated as well.

Oh I know, he's livin' the good life man. I talked with him at the Ft Worth airshow and he obviously had nothing to worry about. It would be nice to have your plane maintained, plus be making bank on top of that. The only problem is the fact he is a slave to them, but they do treat him very well.

Well that was a fail on proofreading my comments. Now where did they put that edit button.

Why is there no edit button? Is it because it's been quoted?

No, not because it's been quoted...there's no edit button because your original post is funny! :D

Own an old Beech Staggerwing or Boeing Stearman.
Fly a SR-71 Blackbird
Buy a small-town airport, get an old B-36 Peacemaker, and turn it into a restaurant/hotel.

Barrel roll a Shrike Commander with a glass of iced tea on the glareshield

1) Obtain my PPL (not so silly, but on hold for the time being)
2) Obtain job working for Boeing in some sort of Engineering capacity (still this side of feasible).
3) Obtain house on large plot of land somewhere within an hour flying time of Seattle (again feasible).
4) Obtain permission to build airstrip on said plot of land; build said airstrip.
5) Obtain a general aviation aircraft with decent operating costs.
6) Obtain permission to fly into Boeing's bases and park on their flightline.
7) Fly to and from work for the rest of my career.

"I want to be God King of all aviation," I replied.

Someday I will be ;)

Is being a "God King" kinda like being a "John King," or a "Martha King?" (because you would have to really step it up with the corny antecdotes, helmet hair, and high waisted khakis if so.)

So, I'm a bit new to the forum.

My fun goals are to:
Teach my future kids how to fly
Retire to a log cabin in a mountain valley on the shore of a lake with a float plane and a grass runway.
Learn to fly gliders
Fly into Oshkosh

Fly across America in a Stearman or a Waco.

Fly to the UK from America in a single engine airplane.

Fly Solo around the world.

Fly into Oshkosh

Flying into Oshkosh is a blast! I did it about 5 years ago with a buddy of mine in a beater 172! I read through the 100 page notam (as did my buddy who was a pilot as well) and couldn't believe it took 100 pages to say follow the big x's. Him and I were chain smoking the whole way there and I'm pretty sure the guys marshalling us upon landing couldn't believe we were actually taxing with camel lights in hand. It was a very vivid memory. That, and the fact we weren't supposed to have beer while camping, but everybody in our camping area did. We ended up playing drinking games with some Delta pilots that were camping in an Arrow in the next camping spot and trying to pickup the 21 year old girl on the otherside of us flying a diamond. My buddy and I were both shot down.
