Is there an age requirement for a SIDA?

I tentatively have a job at ORD as long as I can get an airport badge. I'm 17, so that would be the only thing stopping me.

Can you clear a 10 year background check?

I'm guessing yes, since you were 8 10 years ago, so probably no Juvie for stolen cars or shanking anyone.

I was just browsing through some google search results...one SIDA application for a smaller airport mentioned the acceptable documents for someone under 18.

So I guess as long as the specific airport doesn't have rules about it (and ORD very well might, every airport seems to make up their own crap) it's possible.

I bet if you call HR (or your tentative boss) they can call the badge office and find out for you. I think at CLE the badge office was open every Tuesday afternoon from 1pm-1:30pm, for your convenience :whatever:
 
There is no age requirement for a SIDA badge, although I say this tenatively because some airports do things differently than well everyone else.
 
You won't see a Polar 747 in ORD, unless there is a charter.Thus the "I doubt it"
