SIDA/AOA Renewal

Badging at the-large-New-England-Airport isn't too too bad any more. I believe renewal takes a few hours and two training videos. When I got the initial, it was two weeks of waiting and temporary visitor passes before it was ready for pickup. And to pick it up, you get to wait in that idiotic line all over again.

Can take hours where I used to be based. No pay for doing it. I’m over the SIDA stuff, I don’t bother getting one anymore.

I always heard that pilots don't need a SIDA badge. That they're allowed only in the SIDA area around their plane.
At ORD with the new United employee lot that just opened, and with the old one for that matter, a SIDA is required. Buses go straight to the terminals.

We had SIDA badges in ATL, but somebody way upstairs in management convinced ATL to re-do a bunch of doors to move our crew room out of a SIDA area, and make it so our company badges get us in now.
