I will be going to EMB 170 training at the end of the month and was wondering if there is any good study material I should go over before class. Do they normally send out flight manuals to everyone prior to class or are we supposed to just learn everything when we get there? I know some airlines give out training material right after the interview but my offer letter did not say anything about this. Thanks for the help.

Sorry to be off topic but what were your hours you got hired on with? I just sent in my application to them a couple days ago...
 
Not sure about S5, but at CHQ we got our manuals on Day 1.

You will have more than enough time to learn everything during training. That's why they call it training. :)
