Shower thought...

Moo

Earlier this week I had a problem with a scope receiving transmissions and moved to a scope that isn't normally used that early. A couple of days later at the crack of dawn I find a controller as the same normally unused scope. "I see the Whiskey scope is having issues" I say to the supe, "What are you talking about?" Yeah I put two and two together passing strips to the guy. He smelled like a barnyard, blood and BO (deer season is here) and of all things Pinesol.

I said again words twice, Moo Moo.

Yea lets have the computers run ATC..... Every time a programmer from one of these contract companies tinkers with a system we end up with twice as many problems than what the "fix" was supposed to take care of. I don't foresee automated ATC anytime in the near future. Its just too complex to keep up and the invariable amount of factors doesn't make it that feasible to have a computer running it. Plus like I said it seems the programmers just can't seem to break things as they try to improve the system......
