Shortest Runways

Have landed there before and kissed the concrete without using the grass. It is 2600 ft x 100 ft, but there is a concrete strip of runway in the middle that is 700 ft x 20 ft.

Three shortest for me were

7B9 in Ellington CT where I did my instrument training: 1800 X 50

W16 in Monroe, WA: 2095 X 34 with a 200' displaced threshold and trees on the approach.

5B6 in Falmouth, MA: 2298 X 40 with trees on the approach.

That's pure length. There are longer ones in Colorado that are actually shorter once you consider density altitude effects on performance.

Freeway Airport, Mitchelville, MD

2425 x 40 and this includes power-lines that must be taken into account while in the pattern and a freeway pretty much at the foot of Rwy 18.

hoonah, used to live there. nice runway, paved nothin too big off the ends but not a town many people know about. oh and by the way i would not suggest moving there.
