Shortest regional route (CONUS)

DFW to ACT is somewhere around 90 miles I think. I am guessing not the shortest. What is the shortest route at your regional?

The shortest I've done in the CRJ is PHL to Allentown. It's 55 miles done normally at 4000 feet.

Fun stuff, minus all the Cessna traffic.

EWB-MVY. 23 miles, blocked at 8 minutes.

EDIT: Actually, blocked at 17 minutes total. Flight time from takeoff to touchdown is 8 minutes.

We used to do IAH-EFD. 24.5 NM.

I also used to take a SkyWest flight from ONT-LAX which was 40.7 NM. I remember that we spent more time waiting for takeoff to fit us into the LAX flow than we actually spent in the air.

ACK-HYA 26 miles. Took off right shortly behind the Cape Air guys fairly often in the mighty Saab, always tried to beat them there. Really fun short flight.

Jazz does Vancouver-Victoria on the dash. Air Canada used to have these hops on an airbus and boeings too then go onto somewhere farther.

On our round robin EAS routes we do

MGW-CKB - 25.3NM
AOO--JST 23.5NM

We really dont do long flights. Our longest out of IAD is to HPN at 214.2NM.

Pullman, WA to Lewiston, ID: 22.5 miles in the Q400...

Did it one evening in less than 8 mins take off to touchdown...talk about a busy busy cockpit.

Eagle still does ORD-MKE. We used to ORD-RFD, ORD-SBN... those were really short legs.

Aha, that's the one I was thinking of....MGW-CKB! I did that and couldn't believe it was a 7 minute flight (if I remember correctly). The fact that we had 12 pax on the flight to MGW (from LGA, I think) then only had 3 on the MGW-CKB was weird. In my month of working the Saab (before the Q flying started), I was very lonely up front!)

It was probably from IAD, or PIT.

"I flew from Beaumont to Houston, because my manager doesn't own a globe"

Me too, I rode Jetlink from BPT - IAH. I think it was a 20 minuets block to block.
